what is Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is a medical procedure that uses a concentrated beam of light to remove unwanted hair.
During laser hair removal a laser emits a light that absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the hair follicles. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth.
Multiple laser hair removal treatments are needed, and maintenance treatments might be needed as well.
Laser hair removal is most effective for people with light skin and dark hair, but can be used on all skin types.
A nice clean shaved is required the day before or morning of your laser appointment. No waxing at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment. If you are concerned about being a good candidate for laser please book a consult before your first laser appointment.
